Animal Group Insurance Scheme

Baroda Dairy has implemented animal group insurance scheme for milch animals of member producer to guard them for financial losses due to animal death. During implementation we provides 20% subsidy in net premium amount. During the FY 2022-23 total 1,716 milch animals were covered under this scheme and total Rs.58.50 lakh premium was paid to the insurance company which includes Rs.4.25 lakh subsidy of union. During the year total 144 claims were settled with an amount of Rs.53.21 Lakh and this amount has been paid to the beneficiaries.
